Kenpachi does have shikai, remember He said his sword is always released because its to much to seal, also remember when Zangetsu said Kenpachis sword was screaming during the first fight between ichi and ken?. the girl will have one too or else she wouldn't be a vice captain, she is the only person who has not shown her power yet out of everyone, i think the 2 of them will have a role to play in this arc, its interesting.
